LifeLight Youth Theatre's Summer Performing Arts VIRTUAL Camps- online rehearsals and In- Person Outdoor Performance!
ZOOMSICALS of ANNIE KIDS with In- Person Outdoor Show
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our virtual learning program and online summer camps, “Zoomsicals”—that will kick off this June! Just what is a “Zoomsical”, you ask? It’s an adaptation of a musical specifically staged with virtual delivery in mind. Almost the entire camp experience goes virtual—we cast, rehearse over the Zoom digital medium, learning music, choreography, lines and assembling production elements to prepare for an in-person 'OUTDOOR" performance .
“Zoomsicals” allow for theatre fun to continue when we are not allowed to gather indoors and concluding with an outdoor live performance that will be streamed to various online platforms and offering something new for our parents and students—a way for non-local friends and family to see your kiddo perform!
What can you expect from a typical camp day? You can expect your child to be online an average of 2 hours for group instruction and an additional 1 for individual lessons/small group rehearsals per day. An extra hour will be added to two afternoons for special enrichment guests. On the last day of camp, students will gather outdoors in person to perform the show live.

FULL DAY SESSION FOR AGES 9 & UP
Based on Meredith Willson’s six-time-Tony-Award-winning musical comedy, The Music Man features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance. The Music Man is family entertainment at its best – a bold, brassy show that will have the whole town atwitter!
Master showman Harold Hill is in town and he’s got “seventy-six trombones” in tow. Can upright, uptight Marian, the town librarian, resist his powerful allure? The story follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, whose belief in Harold’s power just might help him succeed in the end in spite of himself.
This week-long camp concludes with a performance on the last day of camp: Friday, August 14th at 7pm
