THEATRE I FOR AGES 9-12​​M- 1:30PM 

1st semester class time- 1:30PM- 2:25PM;

This class is designed to develop the confidence and creativity of the actor when acting in play and musicals. Students will study correct vocal projection, stage movement, character development, and objective based acting. Each year is new lessons.  The class begins with group exercises and will also include opportunities for individual development and partner work.  Then 2nd semester this group rehearses for and performs in our end of the year large scale Broadway musical (there is a modest production fee in addition to tuition to offset the MainStage production costs, don't worry we have fundraiser opportunities).

ALL STUDENTS THIS AGE ARE IN THIS CLASS. 2nd semester class time is from  1:30pm- 4:30pm  to accommodate for our end of the year production rehearsal.

1ST STAGE CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION WORKSHOP ​​​​

THIS YEAR'S 2024 CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION WORKSHOP WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON.

MUST BE ENROLLED IN THEATRE I  AND BE STARTING AT LEAST YOUR 2ND YEAR  IN LYT or HAVE SIMILAR EXPERIENCE TO ENROLL IN THIS CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION  WORKSHOP.  
WORKSHOP TUITION IS  $35 PER MONTH SEPT. 2023 THROUGH DECEMBER 2023

  • Weekly homeschool performing arts classes meet on Mondays and the fall semester begins September 9th. Enrollment is for the school year, Sept- May. We understand a homeschool family budget and we allow the annual tuition to be paid monthly.

DANCE


TAP & JAZZ COMBO FOR AGES 9-12

​Tap is percussive style of dance where dancers use their feet as an instrument. Our tap classes focus on musicality, timing, and rhythm. Jazz will be taught to age appropriate music focusing on technique, rhythm, body awareness, simple choreography and high-energy fun!  


BALLET FOR AGES 9-12

The foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, balance, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work.

THIS CLASS IS FOR ALL STUDENTS IN THIS AGE GROUP .


HIP HOP FOR AGES 9-12

Hip Hop dance focuses on movement quality, rhythm and body articulation to great fun Christian/ clean music.

VOCAL TECHNIQUE AND HARMONY 1 GROUP VOICE for Ages 9 - 12-

Tuition: $26/mo, semester supply fee of $10
Vocal Technique and Harmony 1 is a group voice class that will cover music theory, music reading, sight-singing, vocal technique, and group singing in harmony with a musical theatre focus. Vocal Technique and Harmony focuses on beginner music theory – for students ages 9-12.

Primary areas of skill building for this class will cover performance skills for singers (for a wide range of genres), musical theatre, and through tried and true vocal exercises, each student will be able to sing the songs they are learning by ear and will learn how to read music for their own personal use.


PRIVATE VOICE
Each 30 minute lesson is individually designed for the student and will include one-on-one training in musical theatre vocal technique, building a vocal repertoire, as well as performance coaching. 
After registration,lessons are scheduled with instructor.
$25 per lesson (paid monthly), Semester supply fee of $15 per student

GROUP GUITAR 


GROUP GUITAR FOR AGES 9-12

$35/month


​In this group lesson, students who are brand new to the guitar will be introduced to everything they need to know to get started on their guitar journey. Guitar Level 1 students will learn notes and chords in the first position which they’ll use to play familiar songs and melodies. Students will learn technique, note-reading, and music theory while keeping the focus on learning to play and enjoy music! Lessons will be group-oriented, but offer individual check-ins with the instructor to ensure each guitarist stays on track.
