COVID 19 INFORMATION - as of March 2021

Dear LifeLight Youth Theatre Families,

The health and safety of our campers and staff remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible.

We are:
- Intensifying cleaning and disinfection practices within our facilities and premises.

- Keeping campers in small groups by greatly reduced class / cast sizes and spacing them out, physical distancing.

- Limiting the number of items that are shared or touched between campers and staff.

- Promoting healthy hygiene practices, hand washing reminders, hand sanitizer available.

- Parents decide whether they want their children in masks or not. Students may choose to wear masks or face shields if their parents want them to.
Instructors, campers, adult helpers, and parents of students attending classes will not be required to wear masks but are welcome too – it is up to each person to decide whether to wear a mask or not.

OUTSIDE LUNCH TIME DURING SUMMER CAMPS, WHEN WEATHER ALLOWS.

WE KEEP EXTERIOR DOORS OPEN IN OUR CLASSROOMS TO AID IN AIR CIRCULATION.

Students who become ill will be given a mask to wear and taken to a separate area. Their parents will immediately be contacted by text and/or call and will be expected to pick them up ASAP. Students will remain in this separate area, supervised, until their parents pick them up. The area will be disinfected after they are taken home. If more than one student is ill at the same time, we will do our best to have separate areas for each student.

IN PERSON CLASSES- GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR FAMILIES:

- Parents are advised to check with their students for symptoms of illness before they leave the house, making sure they are not showing any signs of illness (i.e. cough, congestion, elevated temperature, sore throat, headache, chills, etc.). Students exhibiting signs of illness should be kept home.
- We reserve the right to take students temperature at our discretion.
- We would appreciate knowing if anyone in your family has tested positive for COVID-19. You can let LYT know at lifelighttheatre@gmail.com
-  If a family member has been diagnosed with COVID-19, all family members should stay home for 14 days from the diagnosis. If other family members are diagnosed with COVID-19 in that 14-day period, then that timeline extends out from the new diagnosis date.
If you suspect you have COVID-19, or if you have been tested for COVID-19, please stay home until your results come in. If they are negative, you may return to SCCHE/ LifeLight activities. If positive, you need to stay home until your symptoms resolve or for 14 days, whichever is greater.
Students and adults should not come to activities or classes if any sign of illness is present – cough, fever, sniffles, etc.
- No visitors will be allowed in any class, location, or activity at this point in time.

We will be offering camp in-person performances—social distancing seating guidelines will be followed for audience. More details to come as we approach performance dates.
