BIBLE STUDY

9:30AM- 10:10AM

At LifeLight Youth Theatre, we’re passionate about developing more than performers, we’re raising up leaders. The Forge, is our new high school small group designed to shape students in leadership, faith, and community-building through intentional discipleship and real-life application. Led by Mariah Drew.

Performing for an audience of One has always been at the heart of Lifelight Youth Theater. This scripture-based Bible study invites students to dive deeper into what that means and how to live that out both on and off stage. Through engaging discussion and reflection, students will learn how to grow their personal relationship with the Lord through scripture, prayer, and worship. Beyond personal growth, this study challenges students to step boldly into their role as disciples and ambassadors of Christ. They will gain practical tools for sharing the Gospel, develop and articulate their testimony, pray and encourage one another, and ultimately be equipped to live out their God-given calling with confidence and purpose.

A key part of The Forge is giving students ownership in creating connection. Members will help plan and lead social events and activities for LifeLight students, building community, encouraging younger students, and helping make LifeLight a place where everyone feels known and valued.

Mariah is a former Lifelight student of 10 years and is now in her seventh season of teaching at LifeLight. She has a deep love for Lifelight and a passion for investing in every student who walks through its doors. Over the past four years, Mariah has served as a missionary at Lindenwood University through Cru, after previously serving as the spiritual development leader on her dance team at Liberty University.

Mariah and her husband are members of Matthias Lot Church, where she has discipled over 30 women. Following her cancer diagnosis in August 2024, Mariah’s faith has only grown stronger, fueling a deeper passion to glorify the Lord and magnify His name in all she does. She is honored for the opportunity to encourage students in their faith and hopes they discover the same joy in Jesus that has transformed her life.
