This page provides the audition information for students enrolled in LYT's 1st semester production classes.

AUDITION DAY IS SEPTEMBER 13 DURING CLASS TIME.  To become familiar with all of the characters, it would be beneficial to watch the movie of the show you are auditioning for.  Everyone enrolled in the production class is cast and auditions are for role placement only and not for admission into the class. 


MONDAY'S 1ST STAGE PRODUCTION CLASS ​(ages 9-12)- A Charlie Brown Christmas

Audition day is the first day of class.  You will sing the Christmas carol, HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING,  perform a small movement exercise ,that we will show you, and do a cold reading** audition using the provided A Charlie Brown Christmas Audition Sides.  These are provided so you can preview them, but you will not know which one we are asking you to read from until you audition. (**cold reading means that an actor will be asked to perform a scene with very little preparation, and be reading from the script by using a portion of the script linked below).

MONDAY'S MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION CLASS ​(ages 13 & up) - It's a Wonderful Life A Live Radio Play
