Audition information for Summer Camps (no audition needed for half -day students)
The first step is auditions.
All campers are cast and auditions are for role placement only. Each musical will be a great experience for all involved and a fun challenge for the actors to prepare it in just a week.
As stated on the camp/workshop info page- Auditions are Friday, June 8th at location TBA.

Take advantage of LYT's Audition workshop on June 8, 9:30am- 11am, and learn how to choose the material that’s best for you, develop your cold reading skills, improve your vocal selections, survive a dance audition and make your very best impression! We will teach the audition dance for LYT's summer camps and review cold reading material. Summer Camps for Ages 9-12 Summer Camps for Ages 13 & up

WHAT TO BRING AND HOW TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS (for full day students) :
Possibilities for accompaniments include
1) Bring your own sheet music IF you bring your own accompanist. Please note: We WILL have a piano or keyboard available, BUT we will not provide a pianist.
2) Buy a CD or MP3 (karaoke CDs, etc.) WITHOUT any vocal accompaniment or backup voices. We will have a CD player available and speakers for an MP3 player.
3) Purchase a karaoke track from ITunes and burn it onto a CD or have it on an MP3 player (iPhone, etc).
